Kata Rocks Collective Series: The Rum Diaries

Kata Rocks is proud to present the second event in its Collective Series designed to fuse the Phuket dining and drinking culture from a whole new perspective.

Following on from the success of last month’s ‘New Gin Revival’, our July event entitled ‘The Rum Diaries’ will focus on the art of aged rum, it’s artisanal roots and rich history as well as current cocktail trends.

This much anticipated occasion is scheduled for 25 July from 5pm to 8pm priced at 2,000 baht (US$ 61) per person inclusive of a free flow drinks and unlimited tapas. Limited tickets are available. So given early interest and attendance at the ‘New Gin Revival’ we strongly advise rum aficionados to book today.

Those who do will be privileged to part of an interactive social experience tasting five distinct, aged rum labels with a selection of innovative cocktails alongside music, a brief presentation and a creative menu of rum infused ‘Pan Carribbean’ inspired tapas which features:

Bermudian seafood rum chowder, baby lamb burgers with rum mint salsa, crispy rum fish tacos with pico de gallo, duck and fig arancini with rum syrup, soft shell crab po’boy with rum romesco, jerk chicken skewers with tomato rum relish, crispy prawns with green mango rum dressing, sweet potato wafer with chick pea rum aioli, corn chips with rum soaked bean and avocado salsa and vegetarian antipasto with rum infused dressings and condiments.
