Kata Rocks is located on one of the premium pieces of land on the island of Phuket – the island voted by Condé Nast readers as the “best island in the world”. The resort is set in an oceanfront location between two of the finest sandy beaches that Phuket has to offer, Kata Beach and Kata Noi. Positioned on the favoured west coast, Kata Rocks provides stunning sunset views of the Andaman Sea and the picturesque island of Koh Phu which lies directly ahead. This is a perfect focal point and there are not many places in the world that offer such beautiful views all in one spot.
Occupying prime real estate in Phuket, Thailand, Kata Rocks is situated in a private and secluded spot on the headland at Kata Point. It’s located only a few minute’s walk away from several of the finest restaurants on the island, including our own award winning restaurant. Not far away from the resort is the lively town of Kata with all its many attractions.
Boating is a big part of Kata and the annual Phuket Kings Cup Sailing Regatta is held here with over 100 yachts mooring in Kata Bay at the time of the event.
