Jose Padilla Returns 2nd Anniversary

José Padilla returns to Kata Rocks for its 2nd anniversary brunch pool party celebration with a special gift, a CD dedicated to Kata Rocks courtesy of Ibiza’s legendary DJ.

José Padilla, the internationally renowned ‘Godfather of Chill’, returns to Kata Rocks to celebrate its 2nd anniversary and officially launch the ‘Kata Rocks by José Padilla’ CD dedicated to Kata Rocks courtesy of the superstar DJ. He brings his ‘Best of Ibiza’ brand back to the iconic luxury resort for one day only on Saturday 26 November 2016. The event starts from 12 noon with a delicious brunch created by Kata Rocks’ Spanish-born Executive Chef Laia Pons, followed by an exclusive pool party in Kata Rocks’ famous infinity pool.

The event includes free-flow premium alcoholic beverages plus the unique opportunity to feast on delicious Mediterranean cuisine in our luxurious oceanfront setting that features sensational views over the Andaman Sea. The pool party brunch includes an enticing selection of fresh local and imported seafood, barbeque classics, Mediterranean delicacies, Thai delights, world famous imported cheese and a gourmet selection of premium cold cuts.

After everyone has enjoyed all that Phuket’s best brunch has to offer, expect José to get guests up and moving when he starts working the decks. Señor Padilla will make sure tracks from his dedicated Kata Rocks CD are featured prominently throughout his set, together with the legendary musician’s signature songs including ‘Day One’ and ‘Mojame’ from his best-selling ‘So Many Colours’ album. Recognized worldwide for his pioneering work as DJ, the Barcelona native moved to Ibiza in 1975 before taking up residency at Café del Mar in 1991.

Since then he has gone on to achieve global acclaim, in the process selling more 6 million copies of the game-changing Café del Mar series, released two independent albums and remixed dozens of memorable tracks.
