Culinary Cinema Presents ‘Sex And The City’ This Valentine’s

This Valentine’s, Kata Rocks celebrates Culinary Cinema at its most delicious, proudly presenting ‘‘Sex And The City’ (The Movie) on Friday the 10th of February starting from 6:30pm.

A savory feast for the eyes and palate, Culinary Cinema is a curated experience pairing a bite-sized tasting menu custom-designed to enhance specific moments on screen, interpreting film via aroma, texture and taste.

Each audience member receives a tray with their allocated seat, and every box contains culinary surprises ranging from delicious canapé sized appetizers to flavor packed mini-cocktails. After a brief introduction on the running order by the MC, lights are dimmed as the film begins. As the story progresses and plot line thickens, food-matched moments are signaled on a nearby light box, designating which numbered package should be opened and enjoyed.

‘Sex And The City’ was written and directed by Michael Patrick King as a sequel to the HBO hit comedy series of the same name about four female friends in New York City. Starring Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), Charlotte York Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis), and Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon), the film portrays frank discussions about romance as the characters navigate the meaning of love as single women in the Big Apple.
