Phuket’s beach club scene is alive and well. There was a time when beach clubs where flourishing near almost every strip of sand and the now quite Surin Beach was where it all began.
Now a vibrate and fun collection of new beach clubs have quietly returned to northern Phuket set alongside some of the island’s most popular and trendy beaches. Here are best of the bunch, our ‘Top Beach Clubs in Phuket’:
Café Del Mar – This classy beach club is from the world-famous brand originating out of Ibiza. It opened early January 2017 on the north end of Kamala Beach and immediately established itself as Phuket’s newest hot spot. It offers guests a place to spend the day sipping cocktails by the beach and pool with the hottest tunes thumping away in the background. Open daily from 10 am to 2 am.
Catch Beach Club – Located on Bangtao Beach, Catch brands itself as Phuket’s ‘most fashionable beach club’ on social media. And it is considered by many as the island’s most imaginative, trend-setting and glamorous beach club. After dusk is when the scene starts to hot up as beautiful people come out to play, with the restaurant and bar at Catch Beach Club open till late hosting Phuket’s party crowd.
XANA Beach Club – Set beachside inside the Angsana Laguna Phuket Resort, XANA features a central 35-metre pool and Asia’s longest swim-up bar. A-list DJs love with XANA hosting Paul Harris of Grammy award-winning British music trio Dirty Vegas, Paul Oakenfold and Thailand’s very own DJ Nakadia. Expect a well-chosen mix of downtempo, lounge, chill out, house and deep house, all with a touch of funk, soul and disco. Opening hours are 10 am to 12midnight.
HQ Beach Lounge – chic simplicity is the tagline for this popular Kamala beach club.
