Romantic photo opportunities in Phuket

Phuket is one of the best spots for pictures in Thailand. It has beautiful sunrises and sunsets as well as wonderful scenery and backgrounds of islands as well as lush forests. Not only will you be able to enjoy the tropical weather, but there are some beautiful sites to see and take pictures of.

Whether you are on a honeymoon getaway, or just traveling with your significant other, you will definitely want to commemorate your romantic trip with great pictures. If you’re looking for amazing viewpoints and great places to capture stunning scenery with your loved one, here are some of our recommended spots for magic pictures:

The Windmill

Promthep Cape is the most famous viewpoints in Phuket. It will get crowded particularly around sunset. You don’t need to let your romantic picture get ruined by them. There is a viewpoint is just around the corner that will provide a more intimate, quiet place for your romantic snaps. It is not hard to get to and arguably better overview than the cape since it is full of yachts and boats, with beaches in the background and the sunset right ahead.

Bon Island

This is a great island to go if you’re trying to escape the rush of people. Everything you’d ever want in a tropical romantic photo such as white sand beaches, beautiful palm trees, and crystal blue seas will be right there for you. You might also be able to capture some traditional long tail boats or enjoy a meal together at a small romantic beachside restaurant. You can take a romantic couples photo shoot together and enjoy a peaceful day at the beach, relaxing.

Surin Beach

This beautiful location has fine, soft sand, beautiful palm trees, and a great view of the blue Andaman Sea. There are also quite a few boutiques in this swanky area that will give you and your lover the chance to buy something more fancy to wear for your photo shoot. Heading to the serene beach for a romantic sunset photo shoot in your new clothes could be a fun experience for both of you, and you will have pictures of it to look back on!

Laem Singh

This spot is popular for its picturesque views. It’s a secluded beach with soft white sand. Do keep in mind that you will need to pay in order to access this beach, but it really is not too much of a price. It is also worth the romantic pictures you’ll get from this vibrant beach with nodding palm trees and a magnificent sunset. Right across the beach access point, you can find a great viewpoint that overlooks the cove. This is a great place for some romantic pictures.

Old Phuket town

This quaint section of Phuket boasts it’s historical charm and is a very popular spot for couple pictures. Keep in mind that it is a hotspot and there will be a crowd for sure. But it is definitely worth it for the colorful and beautiful buildings. You will be able to get some great architecture into your images, and it will add a different feel to your pictures.
