Kata Rocks Thai Cooking School

What sets Kata Rocks apart from other Thai cooking schools in Phuket is its ‘classroom’ setting. Our Thai Cooking School is held in an oceanfront Sky Villa, equipped with a state-of-the-art Italian kitchen (including modern De Dietrich and Siemens’ appliances), that offers fantastic ocean views of the Andaman Sea.

Kata Rocks is very excited to launch a culinary journey at our Thai food cooking school. We invite guests to let one of our talented, English speaking Thai chefs introduce the art of Thai cuisine during a hands on cooking class, where every session end with a feast.

It all begins with selecting one starter, one soup, one main course and dessert from the Kata Rocks Cooking School menu to create a highly customised and personal learning experience.

Every session offers participants the opportunity to gain first hand knowledge in the art of grinding chilli pastes, chopping meat and vegetables, stir-frying, deep-frying and stewing food before proudly tasting the delicious dishes prepared during every class.

At the same time guests gain valuable insight into the rich and fascinating culinary history and traditions of Thailand.

Our culinary team makes learning a fun and memorable Thai food experience for all guests, as we also provide recipes and tips for participants to take and try to recreate at home.

Kindly keep in mind that cooking classes (priced at 2,800 baht++ per person) should be booked 24-hours in advance, with a minimum of two guests per program. Schedule times offer a choice of either 10am to 12:30pm or from 4pm to 6:30pm inclusive of blue pea non-alcoholic drink, all utensils, ingredients, recipes, certificate, and a Kata Rocks branded apron.

Also please note that alcoholic beverages and additional items not on our cooking class menu are available at an extra cost.
