Kata Rocks’ Ultimate Valentine’s Experience

Kata Rocks is offering the ultimate in Valentine’s Day packages available to only one lucky couple looking for an exclusive romantic experience on 14 February.

The package (priced at 138,000 baht; US$ 3,800) includes a one-night stay in an Ocean Pool Loft Sky Villa with chauffeured transfers from the airport, an indulgent couple’s treatment at the Infinity Luxury Spa and finishing the day with a specially created private dinner serving a ‘Luxury Five Course Menu’ for two on the rocks overlooking the Andaman Sea.

A tandem massage – the Shiva Shakti – takes place in the couple’s room of the award-winning Infinite Luxury Spa. It lasts 150 minutes and is designed for romantic couples to experience together. The spa ritual focuses on three chakras: heart, water and crown with the use of exquisite oils of; rose (the oil of love), orange blossom (bliss) and jasmine (for stimulating the flow of love) which together strengthen the connection of mind, body and spirit.

Later in the evening the lucky couple is welcomed to their private table for two on the rocks overlooking Phuket’s sunset west coast, the dining table surrounded by candles and bouquets of fresh flowers. The guests will be welcomed on arrival with a bottle of vintage Dom Pérignon 2004, and will enjoy private waiter service for the course of the evening.

Kata Rocks Executive Chef Laia Pons will showcase her ‘Luxury Five Course Menu’, which features the most indulgent dishes imaginable; oysters, foie gras and crab tartare for appetizers followed by a main course choice of either Grilled Wagyu Beef Tenderloin or fresh Butter Poached Lobster with seafood bisque. A special chocolate and strawberry Valentine’s Cake finishes the meal.

To end the dining experience, the pair will launch a romantic Loy Krathong lantern for good luck under a specially staged fireworks display.

Then retreating to the Ocean Pool Loft Sky Villa, with Andaman sea views from the seven-metre infinity pool, the couple will return to a bed of rose petals and a sensual oil-infused bath.
