Chinese New Year Celebrations at Kata Rocks Phuket

Chinese New Year celebrates family traditions, welcoming the Lunar New Year with blessings of continued happiness, prosperity and sustenance.

Kata Rocks is delighted to host Phuket’s most exquisite and luxurious Chinese New Year experience that revels in these rich traditions. Welcome the arrival of Year of the Rooster at Kata Rocks starting at 5.30pm with cocktails ‘On The Rocks’ and a traditional lion dance followed by the delicious Chinese inspired dinner experience at 7pm at The Oceanfront Restaurant.

Reserve your table and raise your chopsticks before tucking into Kata Rocks’ four-course set menu. The sumptuous feast includes a Dim Sum basket as starter, followed by generous servings of deep fried shrimp with chili and pepper; stir fried morning glory plus double chicken and mushroom soup with pork dumplings and vinegar sauce. Then savour stewed pork with five spices; steamed sea bass with leek, chili and ginger (served with steamed rice) or our famous ‘Happiness Noodles’ (stir fried vegetables, mushrooms and egg noodles).

The Chinese New Year Set Dinner is priced at THB 1,888++ per person.
