New Year 2009 - Phuket

Two of us from Kata Rocks saw in the New Year on Patong Beach with a few friends, two of whom are customers who have each bought Club Penthouses at Kata Rocks.
We began the evening with dinner in the Savoey Restaurant in Patong which is famous for its fish and is one of the oldest and largest restaurants in Patong seating up to 400 people. We then went down to the beach in time for midnight to watch all the fireworks and let off some lanterns. The clear sky was filled with hundreds of lanterns each let off with a new wish for 2009.
